One Earth is a nonprofit organization that accelerates collective action to address the climate crisis through groundbreaking science, inspiring media, and innovative philanthropy.
Its mission centers on promoting a transition to 100 percent renewable energy, protecting and restoring 50 percent of the world’s lands and seas, and advancing regenerative, climate-friendly agriculture.
Key initiative: One Earth’s Project Marketplace is a pioneering global database of vetted, place-based climate solution projects. This platform connects nonprofit projects with the philanthropic capital they need to scale, facilitating direct support from donors to communities and grassroots leaders driving change on the front lines of climate action.
Projects are organized geographically by bioregion and categorized under three main pillars: transitioning to 100% renewable energy, protecting and restoring nature, and shifting to regenerative agriculture. This structure enables donors to easily identify and support initiatives aligned with their interests and regional preferences.
