The ENERGY STAR program is a joint initiative of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Department of Energy (DOE) aimed at promoting energy efficiency. Established in 1992, its goal is to help consumers, businesses, and industries save money and protect the environment through the adoption of energy-efficient products and practices.


Products Eligible for ENERGY STAR Certification:

The ENERGY STAR label is awarded to products that meet strict energy efficiency criteria set by the EPA. Over 75 product categories are eligible for this certification, including:
Appliances: Refrigerators, dishwashers, clothes washers and dryers, dehumidifiers, and room air cleaners.
Heating & Cooling: Air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, and ventilating fans.
Lighting: Light fixtures and decorative light strings.
Building Products: Insulation, windows, doors, skylights, and storm windows.
Electronics: Televisions, audio/video equipment, digital media players, and telephones.
